Do you accept Medicaid?
Yes, and we can assist you with the approval process. If your loved one is in our care, the service is free. If they are on a waiting list, we can provide assistance in the application process for a fee.
How much does it cost to reserve a room?
There is a $1,500 “Community Fee” to hold a room. The fee is non-refundable.
How long does it normally take to be approved for Medicaid?
The approval process normally takes a minimum of (45-90) days.
Can I admit my loved one prior to the approval of Medicaid?
Yes, but the cost during the approval process will need to be paid by another source.
Medicaid does not pay retroactively.
Does Keepsake Kottage provide furniture for my loved one?
Yes, Keepsake provides a bed and nightstand. We can also install a wall TV.
Can I bring other furniture for my loved one’s room?
Yes, many families bring their own rocker/recliner or other personal items, space permitting.
Do you prorate?
Yes, if your loved one moves in after the 1st of the month, the room rate will be prorated.
